Clinical Resource Manager (Clinical Support Specialist): Leading Medical Device Company in the Marketplace looking for  a dynamic Nurse (BSN or a "RN WITH a BS or BA") who currently, or in their past, clinically supported a medical sales force within the medical industry.  This is a huge opportunity for those clinical nurses WITH medical sales industry experience who want the opportunity to work with a highly regarded medical device company.  If you are a go-getter who wants to get into the excitement of working for an Industry Leader with a wonderful corporate culture who invests in your career growth, then this is for you! They are looking for someone with strong business savvy, who understands how to work with KOL's, support the development of sales people, as well as the clinical and educational support of internal and external customers and understands how to Interact with senior personnel on significant technical matters, policies and plans that require coordination between organizations.  This opportunity is in Advanced Wound Care, but willing to train up for a strong BSN business type who has deep general medical sales industry background!

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage key activities related to medical product conversions in select facilities (e.g., clinical evaluation, education, and cost comparison).
  • Identify, design and implement appropriate consulting strategies as dictated by the needs of the marketplace and corporation to maximize efficiency within key accounts.
  • Assess customer needs and develop tools and strategies to resolve issues.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of proprietary web based programs and product-related education to support key customers.
  • Serve as a key clinical and educational contact for customers using companies medical products and implementing product conversions.
  • Follow-up with key accounts and customers to assess unmet education and clinical needs as it relates to successful product implementation.
  • Provide customer feedback to corporate teams to improve new and existing products.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Managers by providing clinical perspective and expertise to assist in development and growth of assigned business areas.
  • Serve as an education and clinical resource for medical products for the Field Sales team.
  • Maintain active involvement in key professional organizations. 
  • Collaborate with customer/KOL's to present and publish clinical experiences with related products.
  • Continue education through conferences and courses to improve clinical knowledge and enhance understanding of the current healthcare environment.
  • Actively seek out and work with customers to identify materials which would support companies product sales and competitive market intelligence.

 
Position Location and Coverage

  • Candidate will cover the North Eastern Part of the USA and company is flexible on your base location (working from your home office):
    • Philadelphia-PA, Washington D.C., Newark-NJ, NYC-NY, Hartford-CT, Boston-MA any main city within NE area near major airport.
    • For those who don't mind travel; will entertain those who reside in Chicago-IL,  Detroit-MI, Cleveland-OH, Buffalo-NY, Pittsburgh-PA
  • Up to 60% travel if living within the NE borders (up to 12+ overnights per month on average), could be up to 75% given your home base location.
Compensation: 
  • 125K to 155K total compensation package (90K to 120K base salary with up to a 35K bonus variable).

Required Skills

*Must have EITHER a BSN or a "RN WITH a BS or BA"
*Must have experience working in a Clinical Sales Support Role for a medical device or medical manufacturer SUPPORTING Sales-force selling efforts (working with and the sales force side by side and autonomously within the context of supporting the sales team and fellow clinician co-workers).
*Has flexibility for overnight travel that may be up to 60% (approximately 12 overnights per month) to 70% dependent upon home base location.
*Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power Point.
*Someone with a STRONG BUSINESS acumen and has experience in a business setting within the medical sales industry.


Optional Skills

*A big plus is someone with Educator Experience and has constructed education programs with strong presentation skill-sets.
*STRONGLY PREFER someone who has experience in KOL (Key Opinion Leader) relationship building and presentations centered upon clinical outcomes.
*Prior Medical Sales experience is helpful but, not mandatory, just a plus.
*MSN or MBA a BIG PLUS!
*Not mandatory, but Wound Care, Tissue Science, Skin Care or related product background experience a real plus.
*WOCN, Wound Certifications a real plus, but not mandatory.

$125,000.00   Annually to $155,000.00   Annually
