Description
Introduction:-
2 Open Positions Ranging from Mid-Sr./Lead!!

Our Client is significantly expanding its resources to manage the strengthening of development work in the US. With a core focus on Passenger car powertrain development, the organization is seeking to hire strong motivated men and women to participate in shaping powertrains for the vehicle range of the future.

Localization of 4-cylinder engine production including requalification of entire engines is required for the production of the engines in NAFTA. This requires mechanical development of engine parts, subsystems and complete engines including future engine programs. An expansion including localized development of engine variants with larger displacements is now in focus.

Development of calibrations for vehicle variants for NAFTA and worldwide production and markets requires personnel with varied skill-sets including those with intimate knowledge of base engine calibration (Knock, idle, fuelling, ignition, start, etc.), diagnostics including full OBD, emissions, drivability and data management.

Production expansion plans require a build up of specific E/E competencies to manage the identification of new parts suppliers, development of those parts and modules within planned powertrain and vehicle development programs and release recommendation for production locations primarily within NAFTA but also worldwide.

The core electric motor control software group produces motor control software for current  production and upcoming hybrid and electric vehicle programs. Due to  an expansion of the vehicle variant rollout this department will also be strengthened to enable an increased focus on future programs.

A new battery analysis laboratory is being installed to enable R&D activities on EV and hybrid vehicle battery packs to be managed for the growing NAFTA market.

Work takes place at powertrain facilities in Michigan and in California in addition to other locations as required in the US and throughout the world.
