Medical Device Sales; leading name company with strong growth in medical devices and medical disposable products in the Acute Care Hospital market and Rehabilitation Centers.  This huge benefit company is seeking an experienced Medical Device Sales Rep. in this multi-call point Medical Disposable and Medical Device marketplace! This is a company that prides itself with excellent products that are patient need focused and a wonderful company culture that supports work life balance for its employees. They are looking for a proven sales professional who knows how to drive sales.  The right candidate will have a MINIMUM of 3 to 5 years of selling a medical device and/or medical disposable products or DME/Rehab products into the Rehabilitation Setting and/or Hospital Sales Setting and/or medical dealer sales experience.  This product line requires a highly consultative and strategic sales process and requires the ability to form strong long term customer relationships.  Understanding of how to work with Medical Dealers is a BIG PLUS!  You will have some contact and sales direct to patient (Direct to Customer) selling a total value add program approach (they are leaders in the business!).
 
This is a well known leading medical manufacturer. They develop innovative products and support them with educational materials, treatment guidelines, clinical evidence.  It is VERY helpful to have an understanding of GPO (Group Purchase Organizations), IDN's, DME's and marketing a medical product line through key dealers (ie; Cardinal, Owen's and Minor and etc.). Right candidate must be savvy with CRM software and application of salesforce.com (or similar) and it's use for reporting of sales infield activity.
 
Position Location and Coverage
  • Based out of Dallas, TX or Fortworth, TX
  • Territory: N. TX (Waco, Dallas, Fortworth, Lubbock, Amarillo), OK and AR
  • 40% to 50% Travel
Compensation:
  • Total Compensation 120K to 130K plus Stock Grants!
  • Base 65K to 75K + 48K Uncapped Commission
  • Company Car Issues PLUS Gas Card and ALL Expenses

Required Skills

*MUST HAVE a Minimum 2 to 5 years of successful Medical Sales background (best selling Medical Devices, Medical Disposables).
*Must understand how to navigate the hospital key players.
*Rehab and/or DME Medical Sales experience strongly PREFERRED.
*Has sold a medical product that entails nurse and staff in-servicing
*Consistent DOCUMENTED over quota sales performance
*Lives in desired home base of territory
*4 year degree a must (no exceptions)
*Resume reflects Job Stability vs. multiple jobs (job hopping)
*Hospitals and related Department selling of devices and/or medical disposables.
*Must know how to market a medical product through a dealer network.


Optional Skills

*Prefer those with current relationships in hospital and rehab accounts.
*DTC Direct To Consumer medical Sales a VERY BIG PLUS!
*Urological Background a PLUS!
*Critical Care Sales in an acute care setting a plus!
*BIG PLUS to understand how to work and sell within a hospital setting with GPO's and IDN's and medical dealers.
*MBA a plus
