PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining advanced eForms using XML and JavaScript for various electronic auto loan contract solutions. Regularly meet with Product Manager, Business Analysts, other Developers, Architects, Project Managers and customers. Additionally, enhancing PDF form templates using industry-standard tool sets may be performed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:- Review customer-provided PDF forms and data-mapping templates for adherence to input standards
- Work with internal teams and/or customers to confirm and maintain form data-mapping requirements
- Create, enhance and maintain form data fields and add XML mapping tags to customer-provided PDF forms
- Parse input XML data and apply to forms using existing frameworks
- Add and/or implement existing JavaScript to the PDF forms to perform various functions
- Perform all work in accordance with company’s quality programs, standards and procedures
- Maintain safety, security, and privacy standards throughout all areas of responsibility
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are paramount
- Demonstrated knowledge of advanced JavaScript
- Demonstrated knowledge of object oriented design and development
- Direct, hands-on experience with at least one of the major JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Dojo, Prototype, or of node.js or Rhino)
- General experience with PDF tools, creation and manipulation
- Familiarity with XML data parsing, namespaces, XSLT transformation and using Xpath for data access
- Familiarity with standard development IDE such as Eclipse or RAD/WSAD
- Basic understanding of RDBMS structures and SQL queries
- General proficiency with standard MS Office Tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to work independently under general direction, as well as the ability to work within a team to meet common goals
- Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Must have the willingness to take initiative
- Must be detail-oriented and process focused
- Must be results-driven and willing to apply additional effort when required to meet commitments
- Must be effective in prioritizing tasks and responsibilities
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding environment with competing demands
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:- B.A./B.S. in Math, Electronic Media, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field
- 1-5 years work experience, but we will train the right resource
- Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of the typical PDF specifications is desirable
- Familiarity with Acrobat Professional, Adobe Form Designer, and/or PDFlib PSP tools is desirable
