Clinical Specialist - LPN Wound Care: a Clinical Support (Wound Care) opportunity with this market and world leading manufacturer and distributor of medical rehabilitation products. This opening centers upon their Wound Care and Support Surface Division! This leading medical sales company conducts business in more than 80 countries around the world and is now looking for a Clinical Wound Care Specialist - MUST be LPN who works in a Long Term Care Setting or Wound Care Clinic and understands Advanced Wound Care.The right person will ideally have high energy and loves to educate others on wound care and best if they are Wound Certified (company will help support the right person to attain their Wound Care Certifications needed IF they have a deep "hands on understanding" of wound care within the LTC/Long Term Care setting). All individuals applying must have advanced chronic wound care background and at least a basic “hands on” understanding of Negative Pressure Wound Therapy. This opening is within a large company umbrella and an opportunity to join their sales team in a Clinical Specialist role with continued room for advancement! This is a huge opportunity for a LPN with Long Term Care with Wound Care background to break into a clinical support role or even a sales role as you advance within the company and the Wound Care Industry.Must have an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to embrace change and the flexibility needed to successfully support a newer Division with their current Product Line and the new products that are routinely added to their portfolio!Essential functions of job are as follows:
- Conduct Educational programs
- Product In-servicing, customer support and implementation assistance
- NPWT (Negative Pressure Wound Therapy).
- Provide product and clinical support to Long Term Care customers.
- Build and strengthen customer relationships (especially Key Opinion Leaders)
- Support medical industry Trade-shows and Industry Conferences
- Lead collection and dissemination of clinical information
- Develop and execute educational procedures, tools and protocols
- Participate in cross functional teams to enhance knowledge of wound therapies
Position Location and Coverage:- Position based out of Hartford, CT or within 50 minutes of local
- Covers all of CT
- MUST be flexible to help "the clinical team" and cover nearby state coverage when needed.
- Overnights when team coverage is required; usually 2-3 overnights a MONTH.
Compensation:- Salary range 75K to 85K PLUS 10% Bonus (82,500K to 93,500K Total Income Range)
- 10% Bonus is tied to company/territory sales performance

*LPN with strong Wound Care Clinic or Long Term Care Wound Care Experience; (WCC, CWOCN & CWS strongly preferred but not required).
* Minimum 2 years of related clinical wound experience, and can be currently working within a LTC facility or Wound Care Clinic.
* Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to present information in a group setting.
*Understands how to network and build internal and external company relationships.
* Understands this role is a very strong clinical support role maintaining business and inservicing the wound care and support surface product line within that account!
* Resume reflects Job Stability vs. multiple job hopping
*High energy person who likes to meet new people and work remote from their home and possibly travel on occasion.
