Automated Test Engineer (QA)
The Quality Assurance role is critical to the success of our product teams and to our products our customers love. You will have a lead role in implementing and executing our automated test suites alongside our developers as they deliver stories within the teams. Through the use of SCRUM and agile methodology, we are advocates of a lean product development; building minimum viable products; and helping our customers to quickly turn out new and innovative products. This position requires results-driven team members who really want to contribute to successful products and who aren't afraid to do big things through the production of software products that really matter.
Essential Job Functions:- Utilize automated test tools and overall coverage for web UI and mobile clients
- Document/maintain test procedures and records
- Drive the adoption and implementation of automated testing practices
- Work comfortably on a self-managed product team
- Possess and understand Agile development methodologies and the role of testing
Required Skills- Experience with open source development and testing tools such as Selenium, Fitnesse, Cucumber, etc.
- Agile (Scrum) experience
- Ability to build automated test plans using Selenium, SoapUI or similar tools
- Perform internationalization and localization testing
- Solid understanding of web development and related technologies - HTML, JavaScript, CSS and AJAX
- Knowledge of testing RESTful APIs
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, CIS, MIS or related software engineering discipline
- Two (2) to Five (5) years of real world quality assurance testing experience on web/mobile projects.
