Intermediate Software Developer
About the Position:
We are looking for a software developer to join our existing development team due to growth. You should have a basic understanding of agile methodologies, constant research and learn new techniques and technologies, and have decent experience/knowledge in Test Driven Development, Object-Oriented Design principles, pair programming, and produce good, solid code.
An ideal candidate has experience in:- The Agile software process
- Strong commitment to TDD + Pair Programming
- Designing software at the application and system level.
- Refactoring and maintaining large applications
- Continually learning new technologies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related degree
- Object Oriented design background
- Ruby on Rails - 1+ years
- SQL Server 2008 (or similar Relational Database System)
- Experience in a Scrum or Agile team
- Test Driven Development concentration
- Java – 2+ years
- Experience in mobile application development (iOS and Android)
- UI/UX experience
