Senior Software Developer
About the Position:
We are looking for two senior software developers to augment the existing development team. The ideal senior developer is one well-versed in agile methodologies, is constantly learning new techniques and technologies, and has strong experience in Test Driven Development, Object-Oriented design principles, pair programming, and producing high quality, maintainable code.
An ideal candidate has experience in:- The agile software process
- Strong commitment to TDD + Pair Programming
- Designing software at the application and system level.
- Collaborating with the Product team to understand the software needs of business
- Refactoring and maintaining large applications
- Continually learning new technologies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related degree
- Strong Object Oriented design background
- Ruby on Rails - 2+ years
- SQL Server 2008 (or similar Relational Database System)
- Experience in a Scrum or Agile team
- Test Driven Development concentration
- Java – 3+ years
- Experience in mobile application development (iOS and Android)
- UI/UX experience
