The ASP Operations Group in Lenexa, KS is currently seeking a contract to hire F5 Network Engineer. This individual will be responsible for required tasks to successfully develop, implement, and operate F5 and other devices in our webfarm environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in network engineering or related field
• Experienced with F5 devices in at least one area: Global Traffic Manager, Local Traffic Manager, ASM, and AVR.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Identifies, designs, and implements technical solutions based upon business and use cases.
• Partners with other internal groups to identify how to further increase the value and utilization of the F5 and other network/system devices.
• Designs, implements, and operates F5 and other network/system devices
• Installs current network operating system on new or existing network devices and/or installs communication equipment including routers, switches and firewalls
• Installs software on networking devices.
• Analyzes network topologies to determine potential issues and makes suggestions for recommended changes.
• Assists with the preparation of network assessments and certifications.
