 The Lenexa office of our client is currently seeking a software architect with experience in .Net Framework, SQL Server and automated testing tools.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provides architectural and “big picture” oversight for development of new or enhanced products.
  • Translates customer business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for solutions and integrating architecture.
  • Acts as an advocate for the customer, as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address customer’s business problems.
  • Provides direction for design activities.
  • Provides technical advice to other departments within the company, and is responsible for integrating components built by product developers.
  • Analyzes the scope, timeline and specifications of tasks; delegates tasks to other architects. Writes implementation plans for enhancements and fixes.
  • Provides technical assistance to support staff.  Assists with implementations of enhancements and fixes by providing coding knowledge.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of five years of experience in related field
  • .Net Framwork - specifically C#  and MVC

 Preferred Skills

  • Strong technical knowledge in software development methodologies, software design and implementation.
  • Strong technical knowledge in the .NET frameworks, in C#, in MVC, and in code review tools and processes.
  • Strong technical knowledge in software testing tools and frameworks, including MSTest, MS Fakes, or other similar technologies
  • Strong analytical and design skills at multiple project level.
  • Strong skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle.
  • Strong awareness of business issues as they impact overall project plans.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and project/time management skills.
  • Strong understanding of MS SQL Server.
  • Familiar with design tools including Vision and Visual Studio for diagramming.
