IT Manager - Application Development
 
The Application Development Manager will manage all day-to-day operational activities and priorities for the continued development of Revenue Operations systems . The successful candidate will be a partner to the supported businesses and manage all related IT activities; manage and implement strategic and tactical plans according to best practices in support of our significant growth trajectory; build and nurture a high performing team responsible for developing IT systems, and managing vendor engagements. The ADM will also partner with the business to identify technology solutions that address business problems.The ideal candidate for this position will have experience leading medium to large IT programs and implementations teams within a Healthcare organization; budget planning and management, and working in a matrixed environment. The individual must be a highly organized, self-motivated, strategic thinker, tactical executioner and have an Information Technology background. The successful candidate must also possess superior communication and negotiation skills.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Position has full supervisory responsibility for recruitment, hiring, retention, performance development, performance management, salary adjustments, and termination of direct reports.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration. 10+ years of software development experience. 5+ years in managerial capacity leading development teamsMinimum 5 years experience leading custom application development in structured development practices; offshore experience is desired. Experience managing vendor relationshipsStrong business analysis competencyStrong technical architecture, software design and .Net development experienceProficient in database design and development. Proficient in web application design and development. Expert in SDLC and software development methodologies. Strong project management skills. Excellent leadership and people management skillsExcellent time management, decision-making, problem solving, presentation, documentation, planning and organization skillsAbility to excel in highly demanding environment and manage multiple priorities. Development background in .Net, Oracle (or equivalent) is a must. Cold Fusion experience is a plus. Healthcare industry experience preferred
