||Duties and Responsibilities: The Georgia Department of Driver Services is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Validation Clerk I in the Records Management Unit of the Field Operations Division. Under general supervision, this position performs processing, transactions or other technical-level duties for a function or program area. The Validation Clerk I researches and resolves related issues, and provides documentation, reporting and customer and administrative support
Verifies data and/or monitors compliance of assigned transactions with agency procedures, policies and/or specifications.
- Completes processing of documents, claims, applications, and/or transactions.
- Documents data/information such as organizational unit or program area work activity, productivity, and resource utilization.
- May prepare or reconcile accounts, etc.
- Prepares reports and communications.
- Provides administrative support.
- Provides technical assistance to customers and staff.
- Researches and/or resolves processing or transactional issues, customer questions, case information or changes.
- Reviews and interprets various technical program documents, reports, etc.
- Supports routine administrative functions for the agency/office.
|Condition of Employment: A valid Georgia driver’s license is required and must be maintained while employed in this position. Non-Georgia residents must have a recognized equivalent license. |
