This is an exciting opportunity that is an integral part of Medicare Shared Savings Program Accountable Care Organizations (ACO). This process is vital to achieving shared savings, and increasing quality requirements over time. The efforts of the staff needed for this project are supported by the effort of the field staff that own the program, are knowledgeable on the specific requirements, ensure physicians and care coordination nurses are thoroughly engaged, and ensure training is completed within respective timeframes. Collaborative Health Systems (CHS) provides thorough training in the use of our technology, processes, and HIPAA documents to be scanned, copied or reviewed.  If you have substantial medical records and/or chart auditing experience, a professional demeanor, and can work independently, we invite you to join a respected name in the industry!

Position Title:  Medical Records Chart Retriever
 
Position Summary:
The Medical Records Chart Retriever will have responsibility to confirm and perform chart retrieval and assignments. This role will work closely with the assigned Project Administrator, Vendor Oversight specialist and/or Market Operations teams to fulfill direct and/or on-site appointments with ACO Participants. The Retriever will need to have medical chart experience, basic computer skills i.e. desktop and network drive navigation. Use of programs like Adobe, CutePDF or collaborative platforms like SharePoint are a plus but not necessary.  Must be familiar with paper charts and/or EHR/EMRs.
 
 
Position Duties:
  • Retrieves and pulls required medical records information
  • Scan and save paper charts as PDF
  • Take screen shots from EMR/EHR records and save as PDF
  • Create one pdf file for each beneficiary
  • Saves beneficiary  file into SharePoint
 
 
Qualifications:
  • Experience working in private practice or clinic settings, preferably in one of the following specialties:  Family Practice, General Practice, Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Cardiology or Endocrinology.
  • MA, LVN. RN or strong medical records experience
  • Professional  experience working in/with provider offices Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledgeable and comfortable with using computers
  • Comfortable working in team environment
  • Self-directed
 
 
Environment:
  • This position is an office based role.
    • Although unlikely, travel may be required on a local and/or national level
  • Must be comfortable working a desk throughout duration of shift.

  • Competitive hourly compensation based on experience

All candidates must be able to start on January 6th 2014 and work through the end of March.
