Human Rights First is seeking a General Program Intern who, under the direction of the Office Manager, will provide administrative and programmatic support to the day-to-day operations of the DC office and help advance the organization’s advocacy goals. The General Program Intern will work closely with program staff from the Refugee Protection, Law and Security, Human Rights Defenders, Business and Human Rights, and Crimes Against Humanity Programs on a variety of research and administrative projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION: Currently enrolled or recently graduated from an accredited undergraduate university.
PAID/UNPAID INTERNSHIP: Unpaid
START DATE: January 2014
TIME COMMITMENT: Minimum 15 to 20 hours per week, for at least 10 – 12 weeks
