Career Evolutions is searching for a Sales Director with a fast-growing B2B marketing company in Phoenix, AZ.  Full-time position with a targeted total compensation of $175,000 (base + commissions) during the first year.

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic personality with a passion for this B2B Sales and the drive to succeed.

Job Title: Sales Director

Job Summary: You will plan, develop and manage both strategic and tactical accounts while developing and maintaining long-term client relationships and growing revenues and profits. You will also assess client needs, resolve issues and enhance these relationships. You will develop customer acquisition and account penetration strategies and lead them through execution, continuously develop improved relations with clients and internal departments through frequent discussion and interaction, and maintain ultimate accountability for the success, quality, strategy, and integrity of all client relationships and resulting campaigns, which leads to account growth year over year.

You will acquire new enterprise accounts, lead successful team implementations, learn and understand current and potential clients’ businesses, use CRM appropriately to provide visibility into sales activities and create accurate sales forecasts, create and deliver standard and customized presentations, as well as successfully negotiate contracts and close deals.

  1. Account Management:  Expand sales within existing accounts, focus on customer service, develop relationships with key decision makers, understand and respond to customer needs, track and monitor account activity.
  2. Initiative: Tackle problems and take independent action, seek out new responsibilities, act on opportunities, generate new ideas, practice self-development.
  3. Product Knowledge:  Know and explain product features/benefits, understand/sell the full product line, understand customer's business operations and needs, understand/respond to the competition, apply market knowledge.
  4. Sales Skills:  Develop new business, identify and sell to customer needs, translate product features to benefits, have good listening skills, are sensitive to customers, deliver effective presentations, negotiate well, use closing skills appropriately, develop sales skills.
  5. Territory Management:  Develop detailed sales/marketing plans, forecast sales, manage time and work flow, create effective call plans, monitor and respond to competition, network and generate referrals.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business
  • 5+ years’ experience of direct B2B enterprise sales
  • Complex Enterprise Sales experience with strong emphasis on sales of services
  • Experience in developing sales plans, sales forecasts, and managing Fortune 500 accounts
  • Must have an excellent understanding of the processes and strategies of selling “high value services” to Senior Level Executives in large organizations in a competitive environment
  • Experience in a specific vertical market sector, i.e. Technology, Telecommunications is a plus
  • Ability to excel in a fast paced role and effectively manage time across multiple customers and projects using automated tools
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills and documented success in exceeding sales goals or objectives and a proven history of closing deals
  • Strong business and analytical skills and excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
