ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY The Clinical Trainer will support Clinical leadership in the assessment of training needs and the development and delivery of training as needed. This includes developing and conducting best practice training for case management home health care for new employees and continual department training needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provides support and continual development, implementation, and maintenance of training needs for new and existing staff.
2. Consults with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) when necessary to develop work process solutions.
3. Delivers quality training sessions to all staff utilizing concepts, materials, and supporting documentation that is industry specific and evidenced based.
4. Utilizes creative and adaptive teaching techniques to accommodate adult learning needs.
5. Provides technical writing of training materials.
6. Provides curriculum development for training classes.
7. Has the depth of understanding in training to align with the overall training plan. Operates independently in executing training initiatives.
8. Conducts needs assessments to identify system and work flow training needs.
9. Researches subject matter to establish best practices.
10. Identifies and develops ongoing needs of the department, providing input toward solutions.
11. Acts as a clinical leader in case management for the department and proactively develops curriculum to address gaps in performance.
12. Works with operational and clinical leaders in the site to develop clinical curriculum.
13. Partners with other formal and informal trainers to optimize the development and delivery of training and training materials.
14. Supports the use of online tools such as CE Direct, SharePoint and shared drives to promote easy access to documentation for training and operations.
