 $140 - $140K – At plan numbers of between $260 - $280K plus 15% and 20% accelerators!!!

Job Description:
The Sales Representatives (SR) is responsible for the planning and execution for his/her territory as defined by the company. This includes responsibility for license revenue, services revenue, and overall customer and partner satisfaction.
The SR is expected to develop relationships and support activities with partners, re-sellers, systems integrators, technology partners, other channels and Enterprise Sales Managers within his/her territory.  The SR is also expected to develop a comprehensive territory account plan, and then oversee and drive the execution of that plan.
The SR is responsible for communicating and documenting all activities within his/her territory regarding the pipeline and forecast as well as the status of specific projects, transactions and issues as they arise.
 
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
1.      Lead the sales activities (through the defined sales cycle), and definition and execution of an account strategy for assigned territory;

  1. Manage the pipeline, forecast and progress of opportunities across the territory;
  2. Assist, coordinate activity and develop relationships with partners, re-sellers, systems integrators, technology partners, other channels and Enterprise Sales Managers within the territory ;
  3. Coordinate the implementation and deployment efforts of all software and services deployed within the territory;
  4. Coordinate resources with in the territory to satisfy goals and initiatives;
  5. Develop account plans and lead teams through execution of the plan;
  6. Assist in local opportunity qualification as part of partner, re-seller and channel account strategy;
  7. Coordinate procurement activities and assist in negotiations as appropriate;
  8. Develop and maintain key relationships with customer, prospect opportunities and other partner and channels;
  9. Work to ensure  is considered a “standard” technology within prospect opportunities and customer accounts;
  10. Establish demand generation programs within the assigned territory and support activities outside;
  11. Ensure regular and appropriate communication is maintained within the broader account team underpinning a coordinated and managed approach in the account or opportunity;

 
Experience and Skills Required:

  1. A senior Territory Sales Manager (Rep) with a minimum of 10 years sales and territory management experience in enterprise software solutions and/or Marketing software sales at the regional level;

2.      The ability to engage business leaders within targeted markets (e.g. CMO, CEO, CFO, CIO) and the sell value of proposition;

  1. Consistent achievement of quarterly and annual sales goals;
  2. Demonstrable involvement in enterprise transactions and management of enterprise accounts as well as the ability to sell smaller transactions too;
  3. Experience working with SI, Agency and other channels, but driving and having responsibility for individual revenue and deals;
  4. Experience of working successfully in a high-tech, fast-paced, software environment;
  5. Stable job experience.  History or 3 years or more success at one company, no 12 – 18 month jumps;
  6. Experience with a startup;
  7. Technical background and knowledge to support a technical yet business driven sale cycle;
  8. Experience and willingness to build a pipeline and close at the same time;
  9. Degree Level and MBA preferable;
  10. Domain knowledge and experience in the industry or account being managed;
