Quality Coordinator Reports to: Quality Manager Department: Quality Responsible for the generation and implementation of all work instructions and systems per TS16949 and to assure that all activities are performed in compliance to these procedures including formal documentation and records through Internal Audits etc. Provide support as needed, to ensure that the team achieves its productivity and quality goals Ensure all non-conforming material is tagged / removed and summon the suppliers in a timely matter Maintain Inventory Control in quarantine area in coordination with Materials department. Lead all shop floor activities associated with supplier sorts, inspection & reworks. Assist plant with specific problems including: EWO's, PTR's, Break Points, IR's, CAR's, PARS, etc. New Pilot Product Start-Up, Time Studies Monitor Key Operator Indicators graphs/worksheets/summary reports. Initiate corrective action as required. Update containment / GP-12 tally sheets as needed (collect, review and file daily). Communicate with other shifts using e-mails daily. Produce and maintain Quality Alerts. Fill in or assist with plant Liaison as required. Any additional reasonable request deemed necessary by management. Keep the Quality Manager fully informed on all problem areas which may arise. Operate within budgetary allowance when/if established and communicated. Job quoting, work orders for sorts and monitor supplier quality. Follow up on problem areas to assure that out of specification conditions communicated to the Business Units for corrective action have been corrected. Follow ISO 14001 Procedures and Work Instructions. College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 6 months in manufacturing environment Excellent written, mathematical and analytical skills Demonstrate knowledge of basic statistical process control. Basic working experience with calipers, micrometers, gage blocks / pins, and check fixtures. Need strong interpersonal skills (communication, able to operate in a diverse production environment). Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
