Position Summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining the processing integrity of the BioScrip integrated and interdependent operational production schedule which includes automated and manual processes.
Qualifications (Required):
Education:- Associate degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
Experience:- 3 to 4 years experience in processing production jobs.
Knowledge and Skills:- Provide first-level production support.
- Serve as the “Gatekeeper” for applications and the first line of defense by monitoring processes and reporting any issues in a timely fashion.
- Understanding of IT functions and technology
- Experience monitoring IT schedules
- Understanding of IT hardware and equipment capabilities
- Understanding of the flow of transactions through general business systems
- Experience with IT Scheduler Package Systems and understanding basic concepts of configuring, adding jobs, etc.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in the principles, procedures and best practices related to this position.
- Proficient level of software proficiency in using PC software to support activities, especially Microsoft Office, VPN, Remote Support.
- Proficiency in Helpdesk Ticketing Software (i.e. HelpStar)
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with confidential material and maintain confidentiality along with sensitivity to patient information.
- Proficient interpersonal skills and the ability to interact well with all employee levels.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills
Other (Required licenses, certifications, schedule flexibility/OT, travel etc.):- Minimal Travel
- Must have scheduling flexibility and be able to work overtime.
