We are looking for a highly intelligent, passionate and motivated video game enthusiast and Project Management professional to join our team as a Special Projects Manager for Player Support, based in our Los Angeles office.

This is no ordinary Project Management position however. Qualified candidates love video games as much as anything and are flexible, out of the box thinkers who are driven to find new exciting ways to work with our people to help them constantly develop with a goal to continue to provide the best support for our players around the world.  This position is a fantastic opportunity for a creative problem solver to show his/her potential and help break existing barriers and help us find new ways to drive the Customer Service industry forward.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the Special Projects team
  • Coach and support employees
  • Manage resources to meet the project needs of the Player Support department
  • Provide in-depth reporting of all projects ongoing
  • Work with Management team to evaluate Player Support project needs
  • Track and continually improve team performance
  • Work with Business Intelligence to obtain Player Support data and analysis as required
  • Work with Training and coaches to assess and identify areas of improvement
  • Work with internal communication specialist to ensure pertinent and efficient communication for the team is consistently provided
  • Initiate and track projects using a project tracking system
  • Investigate and if possible institute agile methodologies
  • All administrative responsibilities for reports; including tracking and approval of time-off and absences
  • Work with Managers and Director on hiring and onboarding

Requirements

  • 2+ years project focused employment or 2+ years working with Player Support Management in a project related role
  • People focused coach, with a track record of successful employee growth
  • Excellent understanding of Project Management methodologies
  • High integrity, with a focus on accountability
  • Expert in MS Project or equivalent software
  • Results focused, and comfortable with demonstrating consistent success through data driven reporting
  • An eager contributor, open to all ideas and eager to share your own new suggestions on how we can constantly improve
  • Expert analytical skills with an eye for detail
  • A great team player who contributes and values the contributions of others
  • Able to travel domestic, and internationally when required
