Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to join a Professional Services Not-For-Profit. We are looking for a Manager, Predictive Marketing & Performance Analytics to join the Marketing Operations team. This newly created position will be integral in growing the analytic capabilities to the next level beyond retrospective reporting and expand it to include modeling and predictive forecasting.

Working with the product marketing team, you will proactively develop predictive models for B2B and B2C campaigns, track performance to KPIs, and provide actionable insights into product, ecommerce, and conversion data to optimize business outcomes.  This role will be instrumental in gathering, organizing, and visualizing disparate sources of data from various platforms, including but not limited to website, CRM, and marketing automation.

The successful candidate will need to be a strong communicator, able to influence stakeholders and manage all the complexities of an advanced analytics data to insights. This is a ‘roll up your sleeves position’ and you will wear many hats – strategist, analyst, and presenter. You should be a quantitative storyteller, passionate about marketing, data & analytics, with a balanced mix of agency and external vendor experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Build, manage, and maintain website, ecommerce, landing pages, and email daily/weekly/monthly analytics reports and dashboards, highlighting trends, identifying key insights and tracking performance to KPIs
  • Own the data orchestration, visualization, and analysis ASME’s marketing program efforts:
  • Develop predictive models for B2B and B2C marketing campaigns based on past performance and trends
  • Work with product marketing team to develop full funnel marketing strategies across all channels, assess campaign performance and make optimization recommendations based on predictive models
  • Gather data from disparate tools including Google Analytics, Data Studio, marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud), business intelligence (Tableau), and other external data sources and provide analysis of marketing campaigns and recommendations for optimization.
    • Monitor, track and evaluate paid digital campaign performance analytics, based on targets and baselines and incorporate into ASME internal analysis and report.
    • Work with external vendors to implement tracking tags/pixels to ensure cross-domain tracking is in place, data is collected and can be reported across different sources
  • Validate all external data sources are in compliance with data governance and policy
  • Train product marketing team on general digital analytics, tools, best practices and encourage adoption of self-service reporting
  • Research and respond to information and reporting requests from internal/external departments and leadership
  • Actively contribute to enterprise projects, process changes and roll-outs
  • Build, and/or assist in developing standard methodologies and process documentation
  • Stay current on analytics industry trends, tools and interfaces and focusing on how changes can help improve and enhance campaign efforts and overall performance

 

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in analytics, marketing, or relevant quantitative fields
  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Expert-level experience with:
    • Salesforce CRM 
    • Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Data Studio
    • Data visualizer tools (Tableau & SQL)
    • Marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot)
    • Microsoft Excel to organize and interpret large data sources using pivot tables, vlookups, etc.
  • Knowledge of self-serve platforms (FB Ads Manager, Google Ads, DV360, etc.) and 3rd Party Tracking (DoubleClick)
  • Strong understanding of basic website development / structure and cross-domain attribution and tracking
  • Excellent data driven storytelling skills – you create and deliver compelling presentations with outstanding visuals and demonstrated ability to help others learn and develop skills to use data
  • Thorough understanding of marketers’ challenges through relevant job experience
  • Ability to identify/clarify campaign objectives and lead the development of KPIs that address these objectives
  • High aptitude for problem-solving and a natural interest in understanding and explaining engagement behavior and results
  • Excellent critical thinking, writing, communication, and consulting skills
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and work hands-on with new technologies
  • Comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively with external agencies, internal technical partners, and marketing stakeholders
