Manager, Digital Engagement Campaigns

 

This role will be the lead person responsible for developing and implementing targeted customer communications via Salesforce Marketing Cloud.  Reporting to the VP, Customer Experience and Engagement, this person will work collaboratively across the marketing organization to help design and execute marketing campaigns that leverage all tools available on our Salesforce platform.  With the goal of engaging current customers and converting potential customers, the manager will design customer journeys, execute campaigns, and provide reporting and analytics related to those campaigns.  This person will also be expected to be the primary administrator of our Salesforce Marketing Cloud to apply best practices for managing the platform and provide strategy and direction with respect to leveraging all marketing capabilities.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·         Serve as the administrator for the enterprise-wide Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

·         Create and execute email and SMS campaigns.

·         Build email templates and successfully migrate email campaigns from legacy platform into SFMC.

·         Work closely across the marketing team to provide input on best practices for digital customer engagement.

·         Provide reporting and metrics related to all activity within SFMC.

·         Leverage marketing technology to automate campaigns where possible while applying customization and personalization.

·         Execute with clarity and precision using a customer-centric view.

·         Establish best practices for the SFMC operations.

·         Take a data-driven approach to marketing campaigns and prioritization of resources.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills

·         Salesforce Marketing Cloud expertise

·         Salesforce certification required (SFMC Email Specialist, Administrator, or Consultant certification)

·         Strong communication skills

·         Demonstrated project management capabilities

·         Strong HTML and SQL skills required (CSS experience a plus)

·         Experience with data imports, feeds, API, integrations, and extensions

·         Experience with Salesforce Content Builder (creating emails from scratch, dynamic content blocks, and AMPscripts)

·         Ability to produce campaign reporting and updates for distribution to management

·         Salesforce Journey Builder experience (creating journeys from scratch, building out splits, using data extensions, and APIs)

·         Experience configuring and managing preference centers, subscriptions, and marketing cloud pages

·         Email and SMS experience
