The IT Administrator role manages internal business systems and supports users with hardware and software needs.  Day-to-day job responsibilities include:

  • Onboarding new users to the network
  • Managing Microsoft 365 products including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams
  • Procurement and deployment of new hardware (laptops, network)
  • Updating core software releases on Windows, Mac
  • Troubleshooting end user problems with software, network services, mobile applications
  • Monitoring usage and activity across business systems
  • Automation of routine technical/administrative tasks

A successful candidate for IT Administrator should have the following skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows use, support and management
  • Expertise in Mac OSX support
  • Expertise in desktop software including Excel, Word
  • Expertise in mobile platforms:  iOS, Android
  • Information security and forensics
  • Network management
  • Project planning and execution
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

In addition, the following experience is required:

  • 1-2 years professional experience in related field
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
