Conexess Group is aiding a Philadelphia based client in their search for a Digital Product Owner.  This is a long term opportunity with a competitive compensation package.

  • You will represent the voice of the customer at the team level
  • You will be responsible for maintaining and prioritizing the Product Backlog, to ensure that the team is working on stories that maximize business value
  • Have strong business skills and experience, with either some past experience working with technology teams, or the ability and interest to learn how to work with technology teams.
  • Direct collaboration with Experience Owner(s) and Business Partners to drive backlog priority
  • Decomposition of business directives into executable features and user stories,
  • First pass of feature and user story acceptance criteria
  • Detailed requirement gathering to drive said acceptance criteria
  • Memorialization of deliverables in appropriate design and architecture materials
  • Development and execution of feature delivery plans, including development, testing, and implementation, in collaboration with the system architect
  • Leading twice a week refinement sessions with the team to document detailed user stories
  • Leading once per sprint planning sessions to determine plan for next iteration Participation in PI planning events, representing EO's priorities in building the PI plan

Desired Skills

  • 5+ years of experience with Enterprise Content Management and Print
  • 2+ years of experience in product ownership/management and a record of successful product delivery
  • 2+ years of experience in development and implementation of middleware and other shared services in an enterprise environment
  • Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data (SQL) and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • SAFe certification and/or experience is a plus
  • Experience with group insurance products (STD, LTD, paid/unpaid leave, life) and operations is a plus
  • Experience with Content Management and Print Systems, and experience with building and deploying middleware/service layers around these systems is a must
