Come join us at Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) as we market over 250 hotels, cruise lines and destination management companies around the world to the Meetings & Conventions industry. ALHI serves as a global sales force and marketing agency for independent luxury hotels around the world.

The marketing team executes upper funnel, strategic marketing to promote our member portfolio to the meetings industry while providing content that is relevant to our core audience of meeting planners. As a member-based marketing organization, we serve two key audiences: our members, and the clients who work with us to book business with them.

The Senior Marketing & Communications Manager, based in the Plano, TX office, will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing.

Position Summary:

The Senior Marketing & Communications manager works in concert with the Vice President of Marketing to develop strategy, while overseeing the daily execution of marketing across all channels with the support of the marketing specialist and key agencies. This role will own campaign and content development from planning to reporting on results.

Our ideal candidate is a storyteller at heart, with experience in both written and visual storytelling across channels and is a ‘Swiss Army Knife’ of marketing and communication experience, preferably from an integrated marketing agency or working on a well-integrated marketing team in-house. Experience coordinating production for audio and video is a plus, as is knowledge of SEO, SEM and paid social. This person has a knack for organization and collaboration and an ability to manage multiple projects at once, as well as a positive attitude when it comes to tackling new things, adapting and delivering solutions.

Core responsibilities articulating key messages that educate, inspire and connect our clients to a portfolio of luxury hotels; developing and maintaining a content calendar across channels; managing team timelines and deliverables; leading and executing email, web and social media content; reporting on results while learning from patterns and trends to ensure growth.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in marketing or business
  • 7+ years in marketing either on the agency-side or client-side; hospitality or tourism/CVB marketing experience is not required but a plus
  • Campaign content development across email, web and social channels with a portfolio to share
  • Web content management including experience in CMS and WYSIWYG web builders, as well as Google Analytics
  • Email marketing experience including design principles, database segmentation and KPIs
  • High level of comfort with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel as well as marketing tools including CRM and social media management tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
