Position Summary:  We are looking to fill a Director level national sales role with a food manufacturer in the northwest that has experienced consistent growth. This position will report to the VP of Sales and work to promote a positive company culture. The Director will build/retain great team members while developing customer strategies and strong partnerships with customers.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify market dynamics, pricing trends & new customer opportunities
  • Lead team customer planning, optimize distribution, and manage trade budgets
  • Develop customer strategies & execution plans
  • Lead business planning meetings with customers & potential customers to establish business objectives
  • Develop solid customer relationships with key decision makers
  • Retain and recruit top sales talent that promotes a positive work culture
  • Lead food service & alternative channel team to deliver profitable revenue growth


Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of sales experience in the food industry
  • 5-7+ years’ experience with alternative/food service channels.
  • Effective and timely communicator
  • Exceptional leader with strong cross functional skills & ability to build relationships
  • Strong influencer; able to motive and inspire
  • Proven history of driving execution and develop strategies
  • Understands trade investment performance dynamics
  • Able to balance cross functional concerns and customer demands in an ever-changing market place
  • Superior organization and time management skills
  • Able to collect data, analyze and draw effective conclusions
  • Able to travel 50%
