Duties for the position include, but not limited to: 

  1. Represents bank by establishing and developing goodwill, providing services and responding to problems and inquiries by following these steps:
    • Seeks out customer
    • Greets with a smile
    • Calls customer by name and demonstrates awareness of account relationships
    • Identifies customer need(s)
    • Recognizes, recommends, and delivers product(s) or service(s) within own responsibility
    • Recognizes other opportunities to benefit the customer and accomplish organizational goals, and refers to other team members as appropriate.
    • Thanks customer for the opportunity to be of service

 

  1. Verifies information and processes transactions, following established policies and procedures.  Accepts deposits, pays withdrawals or accepts payments for the following types of accounts and other accounts or products as may be developed from time to time, such asking

 

  • Checking
  • Savings
  • Cash Advances
  • Consumer, mortgage, and commercial loans

 

  1. Continually maintains awareness of policies, procedures, and transactions.  Follow security precautions.  Places and observes holds.  Informs supervisor of questionable situations or exceptions.  Executes all required forms and logs on a timely basis.

 

  1. Balances daily transaction; balances Banking Center or special accounts as assigned.  Maintains control of cash. Report outages to supervisor when discovered.

 

  1. Performs related duties such as: redeems savings bonds, loan payoffs, principal reductions, accepts fees and miscellaneous payments.  Admits customers to safe deposit boxes.  May assist in opening and closing bank, processing calls, bonds, processing night deposits and researching requests.  Complete the form of a change of address and forward to Customer Service Representative.  Accepts requests for check orders, and forwards to Customer Service Representative for processing. 
  1. Prepares periodic reports and maintains required records.

 

  1. Performs such other duties as may be assigned or which inherently or logically belong with the position.
