Position Summary:  We are working with a growing food manufacturer outside of Boston, MA that is looking for a Brand Manager. This role will work cross functionally and with external resources to drive brand strategy, promotion, and business analysis. Job Responsibilities:

  • Work to develop & support marketing strategies for product lines
  • Manage implementation of advertising and consumer research projects to support strategies and objectives
  • Implement promotional & marketing programs
  • Coordinate with sales, finance, R&D, logistics & operations
  • Manage marketing budgets
  • Identify, evaluate & manage vendors
  • Track & analyze brand performance using data sources to distribute monthly business updates
  • Track competitive positioning, products, brands, marketing and promotion activities & spending

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field is preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience with product marketing experience in the CPG industry à marketing to young children
  • Knowledge of consumer advertising & promotion methods
  • Strong presentation skills – along with strong communication skills
  • Ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment that is entrepreneurial minded
  • Must have strong computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint & Excel
  • Knowledge of syndicated database programs such as IRD, Nielsen is a big plus
  • Willing to travel as needed
  • Operates well in a team environment
