Associate Director, Solution Architecture 

The Associate Director, Solution Architecture must have the ability to move fluidly from the big picture to the smallest detail. This allows the technical delivery team to deliver complex and strategic digital marketing projects (often with tight deadlines), to our diverse and growing list of clients.  

In this position, the Associate Director will drive collaboration within the company; bringing consensus to internal communication issues and effectively developing relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.  As the Associate Director, you will work along the Director to insure that the right talent and skillsets are assigned to the right projects, and resource allocation information is available to everyone in the organization. All of this knowledge and expertise is then leveraged to deliver solutions to the market, communicate our value proposition and drive continued growth.

Our ideal candidate will be intuitive, focused, driven, organized and calm under pressure. In addition, h/she will have the ability to work collaboratively with exceptional communication skills at all levels including: verbal, written, presentations and active listening. As well as, strong leadership skills, including oral presentations and business writing. This person will possess strong leadership and management skills, keen financial management skills and advanced business acumen. H/She will have proven analytical and problem solving skills.


  • Document development process and provide coaching to all new team members
  • Experiment with and integrate processes and tools that encourage continuous improvement
  • Create metrics to provide teams and the organization with relevant feedback
  • Assist in Building Technical Documentation ( Case Studies, Best Practices, Process & Procedures)
  • Hands on development as part of a larger development team tasked with delivering against client marketing technology requirements
  • Identify resources needed and work closely with team leaders to maintain full visibility of the project schedule and potential roadblocks:
    • Allocation tracking
    • Reporting
    • Time reporting audit/management
    • New business development
    • Estimates
    • Proposal creation
    • Presentation

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5-8 years relevant work experience
  • Familiarity with leading a piece of business, team and/or direct reports
  • Proven experience in leading a team comprised of both onshore and offshore development resources
  • Strength with the Adobe Marketing Cloud suite of products or an alternate content management / digital marketing platform:
    • 3-5+ years of experience working with Adobe CQ (AEM) or similar technologies is highly desired.
    • 5+ years of hands on Java & J2EE/JEE software development experience
    • 5+ years of hands on experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
    • Experience working with REST, Sling and SOAP in a production environment
    • Comfortable with data exchange protocols like JSON and XML
