Our client, a premier oral surgery practice, is seeking an outgoing and energetic Oral Surgical Assistant. This team member must LOVE helping and serving others. Success in this role requires organization, enthusiasm, strong computer skills, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed. This practice is passionate about providing their patients with the best care possible, and this person is an integral part of this goal.


  • Assist doctors chairside during surgeries and consultations
  • Assist with sedation processes, attach monitors, and monitor patients
  • Post-operative patient care
  • Room patient, take vitals, medical history and document
  • Tray assist, surgery room set up/break down, and maintenance
  • Assure consents are completed and signed by patient
  • Maintain operatories, inventory and supplies


  • Certificate of completion from Accredited Dental Assisting program
  • Two years’ dental assisting experience OR One year of surgical assisting experience.
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
  • CPR, anesthesia, and x-ray certifications
  • Reliable, team player with positive attitude and work history


  • Weekday schedule: Monday – Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm and Friday 6:30am-2:00pm (No evenings or weekends)
  • Lunch provided on select Fridays
  • Scrubs provided daily

Required Skills

Certificate of completion from an accredited dental assisting program
Two years of dental assisting experience OR one year of surgical assisting experience
Proven customer service and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
