The Commercial Real Estate - Credit Underwriter will be responsible for full cycle underwriting of proposed funding amounts and terms to small businesses. The Commercial Real Estate - Credit Underwriter will work closely with the Relationship Manager to assess and structure a deal that is attractive for the business owner and minimizes risk.

Key responsibilities include:

·Work with the Relationship Managers, plus liaison with attorneys & title companies in structuring, analyzing and negotiating credit transactions

·Responsible for full cycle Commercial Real Estate - Underwriting of assigned small business funding deals

·Determine ability of the borrower to repay a funded deal based on analysis of the business owner's cash flow statements, tax returns, and other financial information

·Perform detailed financial analysis on the small business, including trend and ratio analysis, and interpret the financial information to determine credit quality and cash flow adequacy

·Perform credit analysis and financial statement analysis on business owners, guarantors, and individuals to determine assets coverage for requested funding amounts

·Coordinate with Relationship Managers, CRE customer calls and site visits

·Perform other due diligence as needed to determine the creditworthiness of a business owner
