-Process data files from field crews into AutoCAD Civil 3D format.
-Prepare survey drawings, exhibits, sketches, as-builts, and other types of finished survey products.
-Create legal descriptions, reports, and generate construction staking calculations.
-Research parcel information and deed records both in office and at county government offices.
-Read and plot deeds, easements, and other legal descriptions.
-Develop contours for topography surveys.
-May occasionally work in the field as part of a field crew.
-Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
-Familiarity with GPS and robotic total station.
-Experience performing all aspects of office/drafting work involved in boundary, topography, ALTA, and lot surveys, as well as calculations for construction staking.
-Knowledge of construction drawings and construction processes.
-Willingness to take ownership of every project assigned and ability to effectively communicate.
-Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
-Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a surveying or construction related field or equivalent work experience.
-Experience and knowledge in surveying with strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent computer skills and a good understanding of and willingness to learn new technology.
-Valid State of Indiana Surveyor's License.
