Are you someone who excels in utilizing technology, enjoys providing excellent customer service, and has a knowledge of benefit programs? Resourcing Edge seeks a Benefits Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. We are a professional employers organization (PEO) that provides services to small and mid-sized companies, including administering employee benefit plans, payroll and workers' compensation, recruiting, risk management, training and development and other human resource management services. We have master plans with the nation’s best carriers including UnitedHealthcare, MetLife, Assurity Life Insurance Company, and MassMutual.

The Benefits Customer Service Representative plays an integral role on our team in providing benefits administration to clients with a strong emphasis on customer service.  We are looking for someone to act as a liaison between carriers, brokers. and clients.  The role also involves educating clients, researching and resolving client benefit issues and assisting with claims. 

Duties

  • Client support regarding their benefits plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, STD, LTD, and 401(k)
  • Problem solve with payroll department on benefits related issues
  • Benefits reconciliation
  • COBRA processing support
  • Benefit renewals, meeting with clients and brokers to facilitate the process
  • Assist with compliance of changing laws and regulations regarding ACA and state benefits laws.
  • Manage benefits eligibility for worksite employees

 

 

 

Required Skills

-Excellent technical and organizational skills
-Strong customer service orientation with ability to develop client relationships
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
-Extremely detailed and accurate
-Must have or obtain Group 1 Health and Life License within 90 days
-2+ years of benefits experience
