This position is responsible for managing the tool crib inventory and maintaining the maintenance systems. It involves purchasing supplies and spare parts for equipment and supporting maintenance as needed.
-Perform all administrative duties as assigned, including managing inventory and spare parts, forecasting, purchasing, and maintaining organization in the department.
-Order material based on usage, min/max levels or cycle counts
-Order special items as needed to support plant operations.
-Ensure that the proper levels of storeroom inventory are available to support plant productions.
-Maintain an accurate inventory in the storeroom and spare parts. Ensure that the MRP system inventory is updated and accurate.
-Order consumables as instructed by the plant buyers.
-Enter purchased receipts into the system.
-Utilize maintenance software to enter or record maintenance activities.
-Act as a lead in scheduling maintenance activities.
-Creating and sending reports (weekly, monthly, ad hoc) as scheduled.
-Perform general administrative tasks as needed.
-Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage.
