Career Evolutions is searching for a Revenue Manager for a non-profit organization in Phoenix, AZ. An excellent career opportunity with a compensation up to $75,000 + Excellent Benefits.

As the Revenue Manager, you will oversee all aspects of accounts, from intake through payment. You will collaborate with team members and contribute to the day-to-day operations on all issues related to the revenue cycle function, provide analysis, create written processes and train others in implementing a cross-functional revenue cycle team. You will also supervise a small accounting & finance team.

You have a strong understanding of clinical contracts, monitoring and reporting receivables, reporting and analyzing financial data and designing, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as streamlining effective billing processes across multiple funding streams.

You will manage and oversee the core functions of the Billing Department such as Contract Analysis, Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Analysis, and Internal Controls. And scrutinize contracts and vendor agreements to help determine if the terms align with the organization’s needs. Ensure timely billing and collection procedures for all revenue-generating activities. Monitoring and balancing the organizations accounts receivables. And resolve solutions to complex billing issues as they occur.

You are responsible for month-end closing of the billing information. Establish appropriate checks and balances through segregation of duties and related policies while ensuring department policies and procedures are kept current and plan and implement quality assurance for all processes.

Provide training, serve as a supervisor, and manage performance for members of the team. Develop extensive expertise related to the billing management systems and various funding requirements. Demonstrate and reinforce behavior with teammates consistent with organizational values.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration preferred; or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing billing and accounting operations
  • Experience with QuickBooks strongly preferred
  • Advanced knowledge, skills and experience within this professional field of practice
  • Excellent ability to multi-task, plan and organize own activities to prioritize daily workloads
  • Ability to train and supervise others, including performance management of staff members
  • Highly proficient with numerical and technical data and excellent attention to detail
  • Strong working knowledge of financial analysis software, including advanced MS Excel skills
  • Strong management and leadership skills; able to effectively delegate and aggregate results
  • Able to positively collaborate with others and work together as a team
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical reasoning skills
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
