Social Media Specialist 

Position Description

  • Posts on social media accounts, develops and creates social media content, editing, monitoring online communities and channels, responding to online posts, questions, inquiries and messages.
  • Performs and enhances search capabilities through keywords and Meta tags.
  • Tracks and updates social media usage statistics and metrics.
  • Organizes and coordinates social media postings, social media calendars as needed.
  • Develops and/or updates documentation including: instruction manuals, FAQ’s, knowledge documents, user manuals, help screens and/or other online help documentation.
  • Administers social media environment including social media site setup, security, roles and permissions.
  • Works with departments and maintains the clients social media standards, policies, procedures and brand standards.
  • In-depth familiarity and expert knowledge of social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Google+, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, Wordpress;
  • Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Hands on proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe PhotoShop and Google Analytics.
