PropacPayless is a leading specialty service pharmacy, we offer a wide range of customized pharmacy services for the following markets: 
•    Skilled nursing/intermediate care facilities
•    Assisted living/residential care centers
•    Behavioral health communities
•    Correctional facilities

We are seeking a Packing Assistant to support our sister company, Respack, located in Vancouver, Washington. The Packing Assistant will package medication to dispense to Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Facilities.

Primary Functions:

  1. Packaging medications accurately, according to the label, directions, dose and quantity prescribed.
  2. Applying prescriptions and auxiliary labels (if appropriate) to packaged medications, eye drops, topicals, oral solutions, etc.
  3. Clean and help maintain equipment and work areas
  4. Document back orders/partial fills order with appropriate forms
  5. Assist with medication brand changes for refill medications
  6. Assist in maintaining an accurate perpetual inventory for all CII medications
  7. Reconcile E-Boxes and processing Cubex refills
  8. Non-sterile compounding, using appropriate techniques and documentation
  9. Cycle fill packaging and organization
  10. Ability to swiftly and accurately maintain workflow in high-volume long-term care pharmacy
  11. Understand technical terms and processes.
  12. Performs all other duties as assigned.

  7. Participates in continuing education, training, in-services, and attends staff meetings as required.
  8. Assists with projects as assigned and performs other related duties.

Required Skills
Required Skills:
• Active Washington Pharmacy Assistant License
• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong organizational and detail orientation skills a must
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment a must
• Experience with Framework data entry, DocuTrack and Microsoft Office a plus
• Proficient in dosage calculations
• Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours a day
• Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
