We are seeking a full time Certified Pharmacy Technician, Lead Daily Processor for our Vancouver facility.  This position manages flow of incoming daily prescriptions to insure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of processing and delivery.  

Primary Functions:

  • Helps manage department schedule, including overtime control
  • Available for peer support and meetings
  • Assist in writing/implementing process and procedures guidelines
  • Enter prescription data into the computer system via data entry
  • Solves prescription calculations requiring use of common fractions, decimals, rations and measurements systems
  • Prepares prescription labels according to Law and/or Policy
  • Selects correct drug, dosage form, doctor
  • Answers phones promptly
  • Complies with company policy and procedures
  • Complies with work shift requirements and times
  • Covers additional work shifts as assigned
  • May be required to assist other departments if necessary.

Required Skills
• Must have valid Washington state pharmacy technician license with national certification
• Complies with all laws application to practice site
• Understands technician role and function within legal limitations
• Describes risks and signs of drug diversion in practice setting
