PropacPayless is a leading specialty service pharmacy, we offer a wide range of customized pharmacy services for the following markets: 
•    Skilled nursing/intermediate care facilities
•    Assisted living/residential care centers
•    Behavioral health communities
•    Correctional facilities

We are seeking a full time Billing Support Representative to support our multiple pharmacy locations working out of our Vancouver location.  Position provides billing (third party, facility, accounting) office support by assisting with prior authorizations, special services billing, price quotes, contract audits and assisting with phones as well as any other necessary back-up duties requested.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Review insurance plan rejections to determine if insurance setup needs to be fixed or contracts need to be updated.
  2. Work with hospices for formulary coverage and ensure claims are billed properly.
  3. Start and follow up on prior authorizations to increase approval rate.
  4. Work on rejected claims for cycle fill department.
  5. Review reports to re-bill and update orders to ensure proper reimbursement.
  6. Update patient profile on returning residents and gather data from patient profile face sheets.
  7. Answering incoming calls, transferring caller to the correct department.
  8. Process diabetic supply questions for customers and facilities.
  9. Assist billing staff to provide price quotes to customers.
  10. Work with Controller to reconcile adjudicated claims with payments received.
  11. Assisting with billing calls, triage general phone calls & admits.
  12. Coordinate workload to be done in a timely manner to meet pharmacy delivery deadlines.
  13. Provides clerical support to the billing department as requested.
  14. Performs related duties as requested.

Required Skills
• Knowledge of Medicaid regulations and insurance adjudication procedures is a must.
• Pharmacy technician experience preferred but not required.
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and with members of the communities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills along with problem solving skills required.
• Ability to maintain basic accounting records.
