Description

Providence area practice is seeking a Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join their fast paced office. This large practice is looking for a driven individual to maintain all the administrative aspects of a physician’s office. If you enjoy working in a very busy environment, are able to multitask efficiently, and provide superb customer service this role will be ideal for you!

Responsibilities of Medical Front Desk Receptionist:
 

  • Complete insurance verification's
  • Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
  • Answering multi-line phone lines
  • Greeting and checking in patients upon arrival for visit
  • Coordinate physician’s schedule
  • General administrative duties as assigned

Must have experience working in a high volume and fast paced medical office, seeing on average up to 200 patients per day.

Qualifications of Medical Front Desk Receptionist:
 

  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills
  • Excellent computer and typing skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of correct usage of basic medical terminology
  • Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instruction
  • Ability to tactfully and effectively communicate with patients, employees, and providers
  • Proper chart documentation
  • Ability to multi-task and follow instructions
