Our client is seeking an Application Developer to join their growing team!!! Known for it's culture, fun atmosphere, opportunity for growth, and the amazing people who contribute daily; our client is the only financial services technology of it's kind who offers a convenient source of recurring funds for any payment platform to encourage consumer adoption of new and existing digital payments. They offer work from home days and flex hours that are rewarded to individuals who are motivated, driven, and get their work done when needed.
As a junior developer, you'll have the opportunity to learn from some amazing senior talent. This is a great opportunity for personal and career growth.
From our start in 2009, Conexess has established itself in 3 markets, employing nearly 200+ individuals nation-wide. Operating in over 15 states, our client base ranges from Fortune 500/1000 companies, to mid-small range companies. For the majority of the mid-small range companies, we are exclusively used due to our outstanding staffing track record
Who We Are:
Conexess is a full-service staffing firm offering contract, contract-to hire, and direct placements. We have a wide range of recruiting capabilities extending from help desk technicians to CIOs. We are also capable of offering project based work.
Want to build an app, the services behind it – the whole enchilada - that will eventually become a household name? Then join our “start-up” within a stable company that is being tasked with just that. We really are the best of both worlds - a company with a start up mentality (remote days, flex hours, work hard play hard, no micromanagement) who has a solid financial backing. We are the tip of the spear of a product that is being launched to revolutionize the way people move money within this country and throughout the known universe. It all starts with our mobile development and services teams and works its way out from there.
We are looking for Junior C# .Net developers who (ideally) have 6 months to a year experience in the real world. If you're coming out of software school, have worked on applications on the side, are (possibly) beyond your years in terms of experience, contact us! Our client is building THE team and will train the right people; it’s all about desire.
Our technology stack starts with services. We run Microsoft-based services built on MVC and C#.Net. Our application layer is a mix of native technologies on Android, iOS and soon Windows Phone.
Our team is responsible for Smartphone browser development as well as the services to support our flagship product. We code native to each device and seek to build elegant applications that delight our consumers. We have millions of potential customers, and they need to be happy. We work using an iterative and agile approach. Our lifestyle is sustainable. The management in this organization are strong hands-on development-types. If you’ve always wanted to do TDD, continuous integration, pair programming and iterative development but were afraid to do so or worse, told not to, come talk to us. This place works because of our teamwork and approach.
We’re not seeking to pigeonhole anyone into any particular platform. If you’re a .Net developer with a little bit of Objective-C, we want to talk to you. And we want people who can work their way through the stack. That’s what a rock-star team is all about.
We have high expectations for our team members. You will be expected to give everything you have in a sustainable 40 hour a week role. We’re not trying to work people long hours, but we expect excellence and continuous growth. You will be asked and taught to expand beyond your current baseline, and you will be asked to continue to do so as long as you work here. You must have the desire and drive to be the best that you can be. And you have to produce. Have a start-up mentality – Let’s talk!:
- C#, preferably with MVC or some other service stack
Prefer to have experience in some of the following:
- ASP.NET Web API
- NHibernate or other ORM
- NUnit or other testing framework
- nServiceBus or other service bus architecture
