We are working with a growing natural/organic food company in Bergen County, NJ that is looking for a Sales Planning Manager. This role will coordinate heavily with the executive team and be responsible for analyzing and tracking internal customer data/trade spending. Must be extremely proficient in excel. Job Duties:

  • Develops tracking, annual budgeting and planning process
  • Manages & develops tracking formats and distributes findings across functions
  • Analyzes trade spending to determine optimal usage and then recommends strategies or corrective action
  • Tracks new item initiatives & follows new item approvals through to store sets and verifies end results
  • Gives sales forecast input to operations & finance
  • Tracks broker initiatives
  • Coordinate presentations for quarterly sales meetings and board meetings
  • Manages online retail business
  • Manages all aspects of trade shows
  • Coordinates communication between marketing, operation and external partners
  • Assists sales executives when needed – trade shows, broker meetings or customer calls, communicating with broker network
  • Coordinates with regional sales team members as needed

Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years of sales related analytical experience in a CPG environment
  • Must have experience with pulling data from distributiors 
  •  Knowledge of natural, conventional, and ecommerce, specialty is preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Excel – higher level capabilities
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Must have a valid drivers license & proof of insurance
  • Must have strong cognitive, problem solving & analytical skills
  • Ability to move 25 lbs.
