Career Evolutions is searching for a Travel Advisor (Award Tickets) for a fast growing travel agency company. Full-time, Direct-Hire opportunity with flexible compensation.

As a Travel Adviser, you will be responsible for booking business class airline tickets using client’s points and miles from myriad of loyalty programs. A leading/upcoming division for the travel industry, you will be responsible in helping grow the business on the award tickets side.

Responsibilities:

• Researching award flight availability to utilize client’s point and miles from different loyalty programs
• Obtaining record locators from partnering airlines
• Creating alerts in Software to be notified when Award seats open
• Researching and Understanding Terminals and Airports
• Provide advice on visa, passport and security requirements relating to the destination and confirm the issuing details for each reservation
• Make recommendations for improvement to processes, technical or otherwise, to ensure maximum quality and efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree is required
• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in the Airline and/or Cruise industry
• Familiarity and/or knowledge of Global Distribution System (GDS)
• Strong knowledge of International Airline Routing
• Knowledge of Apple products
• Strong understanding of travel focused technical tools
• Fluency in other languages (PLUS)
