PropacPayless is a leading specialty service pharmacy, we offer a wide range of customized pharmacy services for the following markets: 
•    Skilled nursing/intermediate care facilities
•    Assisted living/residential care centers
•    Behavioral health communities
•    Correctional facilities

We are seeking a full-time Medical Records Pharmacy Technician.  This position is responsible for accurate inputting of medications and treatments for facility residents on an on-going basis.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Daily order entry and medical records changes
  • Responsible for triaging medical records faxes
  • Responsible for updating electronic MAR’s for real-time services (QuickMAR, Point Click Care, Eldermark)
  • Profiling orders for electronic MAR’s for residents 
  • Profiling for residents that do not need medications at this time
  • Follow-up Coordinate with facilities regarding information received
  • Printing and follow-through to insure MARs arrive to facility on time
  • Packaging and shipping or tracking elements in place
  • Processing/inputting/Monitoring/Profiling
  • Monitor quality control of medical records
  • Monitor completion dates
  • Assist in other department as work permits
  • Ability to be able to be flexible regarding work schedule, i.e. working later than normal schedule, some weekends

Required Skills

• Must be a licensed in good standing with Washington State Board of Pharmacy
• Demonstrates good work habits such as time management, attendance, appearance, and communication
• Knowledge of Framework, QuickMAR and other E-Mar programs preferred.
• Demonstrates patient confidentiality
• Demonstrates good telephone skills
• Demonstrates team concept and willingness to help others
• Demonstrates knowledge with medical terminology and general spelling
• Demonstrates understanding of dosage forms and routes of administration
• Demonstrates computer skills, software manipulations and able to type 40 wpm
• Demonstrates the ability to use pharmacy references and resources
• Complies with all laws applicable to practice skills
• Understands technician role and function within legal limitations
• Customer service oriented
• Must be detail oriented and accurate
• Organize/ability to prioritize workload
• Ability to complete tasks within deadlines and ability to multitask
• Ability to work as a team member as well as independently
