PropacPayless is a leading specialty service pharmacy, we offer a wide range of customized pharmacy services for the following markets:
•    Skilled nursing/intermediate care facilities
•    Assisted living/residential care centers
•    Behavioral health communities
•    Correctional facilities

We are seeking a Daily Processor to support our Lane County facility. This is a processing/filling/packing RXS position at Lane County PropacPayless.  This position provides pharmacy office services by ensuring claims are submitted and paid prior to medication leaving the pharmacy. The position will be trained in third party adjudication, calling insurance companies, answering questions regarding medication coverage and authorizations, and submitting claims.

Hours:  Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 1 hour lunch - NO weekends, holidays, or evenings.

Primary Functions:
1.    Maintain current and good standing with Oregon Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Assistant.
2.    Works with Pharmacists to determine claims are ran accurately, and provide alternatives if appropriate at the direction of a pharmacist.
3.    Maintains communications with facilities in regards to non-covered items.
4.    Communicates with doctor’s regarding physician orders for medications.
5.    Answers telephone inquiries regarding prior authorizations.
6.    Provides clerical support to the pharmacy as requested.
7.    Performs related duties as requested.

8.  Assists with projects as assigned and performs other related duties.

Required Skills
• Maintain current and good standing with Oregon Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Assistant.
• Basic knowledge of Medicare Part A, Medicare Part D and Medicaid
• Accurate data entry
• Knowledge of pharmacy operating system helpful.
• Experience with PC and Microsoft Word and Excel a must.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills along with problem solving skills required.
• Ability to problem solve under pressure.
