Job Summary:

The Assistant Sales Associate is primarily responsible for the administrative support of the ALHI Global Sales Network Team. Additionally, it is the "back up" Sales Associate as needed in the immediate region and surrounding regions. This role will also cover for other Sales Associates during absence (vacation, LOA or sick), and to assist other Sales Associates with work load/projects as needed.

Qualification Requirements:

A minimum of two years in a Global or Hotel Sales administrative role is preferred. A high school diploma is required. The ideal candidate will also be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, SharePoint, as well as Adobe programs. The ability to maneuver around and work in sales specific databases is required.

Duties and responsibilities (included but not limited to):

Type, process and maintain various documents and electronic information to include; member phone lists, email address books, lead routing sheets and sales presentation materials.

Interface with clients and members.

Create financial and statistical tools, as well as reports using spreadsheets to include; monthly expense record keeping, sales production reports and inventory of member sales collateral.

Manage, organize, and update relevant data using database applications which will include analyzing prospect lists and entering new accounts into the database. Maintain clean and accurate filing.

Communicate and provide information by relevant methods internally and externally to assist and enable organizational operations and effective service including; answering phones, handling inquiries, assisting with quarterly regional updates, sorting and routing daily incoming/outgoing mail and packages, coordinating office travel by air and/or car rental, and maintaining effective and respectful interpersonal communications.

Interpret instructions and any issues that arise, and then implement actions according to administrative policies and procedures, which include Vegas Lead Protocol and completing project work as assigned.

Participate in meetings, conferences and team project activities. Assist as secondary IAC support.

Maintain Luxury on Sale data.

Abide by the policies and procedures of Associated Luxury Hotels International.

Maintain ethical and professional standards of Associated Luxury Hotels International employee development and sales and marketing service.

Performance of other duties, as needed and as assigned by the Director of Sales and the Regional Vice President of Sales, South region.
