PropacPayless is a leading specialty service pharmacy, we offer a wide range of customized pharmacy services for the following markets: 
•    Skilled nursing/intermediate care facilities
•    Assisted living/residential care centers
•    Behavioral health communities
•    Correctional facilities

PropacPayLess Pharmacy is looking for a IV Technician to support our facility in Vancouver, Washington. This position provides IV department support by processing, packing and admixing of IV orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
•    Entering prescription data into the computer system via data entry (according to Law and/or Policy)
•    Packaging of IV medications, supplies and solutions  (select correct drugs and supplies)
•    Preparation of intravenous admixture (following aseptic technique and USP797 guidelines)
•    Daily and monthly maintenance of the clean room 
•    Solving calculations (ability to calculate millequivalents and millmoles, ratio and proportions, percentages, pounds to kilograms, drips and administration rates)
•    Professional communication (proper communication with customers, answering phones promptly)
•    Other duties may be assigned.

Required Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and perform these job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
•    Certified Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Washington
•    Ability to maintain accurate, complete and confidential records
•    Must have excellent organizational skills and must be able to work independently.
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills along with problem solving skills required
•    Able to communicate effectively in English with all levels of the organization and with members of the communities.
