PropacPayless is a leading specialty service pharmacy, we offer a wide range of customized pharmacy services for the following markets: 
•    Skilled nursing/intermediate care facilities
•    Assisted living/residential care centers
•    Behavioral health communities
•    Correctional facilities

PropacPayless is seeking a Pharmacist Intern in our Stockton facility. Duties include dispensing, script verification, receiving verbal orders and processing and special projects designated by supervising pharmacists.

Primary Functions:
01.    Receive orders from hospice nurses, data entry and processing of hospice orders 
02.    Check final packaged product against the label.  
03.    Facilitate workflow processes on a daily basis and perform management duties as requested by the pharmacists 
04.    Consulting with medical professionals on patient therapies and outcomes.
05.    Package and assist with shipping orders as needed.
06.    Data entry of orders when necessary. 
07.    Assists the billing department to ensure all prescriptions are properly billed and charged.

07. Participates in continuing education, training, in-services, and attends staff meetings as required.
08. Assists with projects as assigned and performs other related duties.

Required Skills

01. California intern pharmacist license required and in good standing
02. Complies with all laws application to practice site (Board of Pharmacy, DEA and FDA)
03. Experience in LTC setting a plus
04. Must be able to dispense in high-volume setting.
05. Must possess strong reasoning skills and strong attention to detail.
06. Must have leadership qualities and excellent customer service.
07. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and internal staff.
Optional Skills
