Position Overview:
The main focus will be to work with the data migration and integration services groups to ensure that the tools and process that are being used in the field are optimum for the success of data migration and integration process.  Develop and maintain migration process and tools. This position is 100% remote.  Candidates requiring visa sponsorship will not be considered for this role. 
  • Analyze new migration and integrations processes and tools for PLM technologies, develop solutions, tools and create Advantedge deliverables.
  • Develop/Improve tools and processes to enable Field Services with a focus on data migration and integration.
  • Engage with Sales/Pre-Sales, Americas Zone Services, customers, Product Development, PDS, GTAC, and global teams.
  • Works on medium sized, individual projects, in a single computer environment where design is complex.
  • Analyzes customers' business requirements and application objectives, develops an application design in products to meet customers' needs.
  • Conducts periodic status checks with customer and team to assess progress against plan.
  • Estimates time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement complex project; develops project plan incorporating all project variables.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:
  • Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.
  • Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues.
  • Typically 5-8 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.
  • 4-7 years of experience and working knowledge of Teamcenter and other PLM Products
  • Experience with data migration tools and methodologies of current Siemens products
  • Experience with Teamcenter import, export and integrationtools; IPS_upload, tcxml_import, tcxml_export, csv2tcxml, T4x, CAD import tools (ug_clone/tcin_import, Add to Teamcenter)
  • Experience running or participating in data migrations or site consolidations from legacy systems into a new Teamcenter environment
  • Ability to gather use case information, document and perform use case requirements
  • Self-directed and able to work with limited supervision
  • Travel – 50% of the time
  • Ability to work in Department of Defense or U.S. Government Agency locations

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, computer engineering, one of the engineering verticals or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Teamcenter low level and high level TCXML
  • Working knowledge extract, transform and loading (ETL) process
  • Experience with other PLM or ERP systems a plus
  • Experience with Teamcenter customizations; ITK, Rich Client, Web Client, Workflow handlers or Active Workspace is a plus
  • Experience scripting in; SQL, Java, C#, Perl, ASP.NET is a plus
  • Experience with Linux/Solaris/Windows
  • Strong customer facing skills, structured approach to projects, and clear and concise communications/documentation skills.
  • Demonstrated capability for problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working with cross functional teams.
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.
  • Experienced user of the MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
