PropacPayLess LTC Drug is seeking an Account Receivable Biller in our Stockton facility. This position provides pharmacy office services by maintaining patient and facility billing records, along with preparing and submitting claims; support third party to ensure accurate billing information is correct in patient profile. 

Primary Functions:
01.    Responsible for maintaining patient profile information in the billing system.
02.    Works with facilities and patients to ensure accurate timely billing of prescriptions.
03.    Answers telephone inquiries regarding patient balances and past due balances.
04.    Filing statements that need to be followed up on, call facility to ensure proper billing of prescriptions.
05.    Performs timely reconciliation of paid claims, including the collection of current and past due claims.
06.     Filing statements, calling facilities to ensure proper information has been received, assist in correcting any incorrect insurance billing.
07.    Assist in the quality control of lockbox posting to correct patient account.
08.    Keep positive relationship with Hospice clients and internal processes including auditing, posting, submitting invoices, and troubleshooting.
09.    Responsible for obtaining authorizations for all over limit rx’s and reporting this back to data entry/rph before shift is over.
10.    Process credit card charges and monthly auto charges. Accurate billing of pharmacy charges to Medicare, Medicaid, private pay and third party insurance.
11.    Assists pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure quality customer experience and service following company policies and procedures.
12.    High level of communication between departments in information needed.
13.    Provides clerical support to the pharmacy as requested.
14.    Performs related duties as requested.
15.    Other duties may be assigned.

Required Skills

01. Knowledge of Medicaid regulations and insurance filing procedures a must.
02. Knowledge of pharmacy operating system helpful.
03. Experience with PC and Microsoft Work and Excel a must.
04. Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and with members of the communities.
05. Excellent written and oral communication skills along with problem solving skills required.
06. Ability to maintain basic accounting records. Able to understand reports.
07. Ability to accurately problem-solve insurance claim issues.
